During his military career he completed three tours in Afghanistan—including one embedded with U.S. Army Special Forces—as well as deployments in Bosnia, Northern Ireland, and the Middle East. He later served as a senior lecturer at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, teaching war studies, military theory, and leadership to officer cadets.Andrew now specializes in defense analysis, Middle East conflict, and the psychology of disinformation. He is a Senior Associate Fellow at the Henry Jackson Society and has conducted field research in Gaza, Hezbollah tunnel networks in Lebanon, and the front lines in Ukraine.
