Dr. Yoav Shoham, computere scientist, Professor Emeritus at Stanford and Co-founder of AI21 Labs, joins host Jason Stoughton on The Pulse of AI podcast to talk about his career journey, the really powerful and neat things that his company AI21 is going using NLP, and a wide range of topics around AI and philosophy and ethics and much more. Yoav's research spans artificial intelligence, logic and game theory. He has been the co-founder of several companies, including his latest AI21 which is an Israeli company aiming to change the way people read and write using AI. He also initiated the AI index out of Stanford. But beyond all of that he is just a really fascinating and interesting person with great insights into AI, its future and its potential impact on society and during this conversation we cover a lot of ground.
