In this episode, We can hear him talking about his translations, contemporary Ukrainian Literature, how the ongoing war affected Writers, the book,' Life Went On Anyway' and its author, Oleg Sentsov.Dr.Uilleam Black is the author of 'Memory, the City and the Legacy of World War II in East Central Europe'. He has published widely on Ukrainian, Polish and Russian literature and culture. He has translated the works of many Ukrainian authors, including Oleg Sentsov’s short story collection ’ Life Went On Anyway’. He has written for the Times Literary Supplement, Open Democracy Russia, and Words Without Borders.
