Conversations with Nicole: December 7, 2022, Former SC Representative Gary Simrill PART ONE

It's a new chapter for former South Carolina Representative Gary Simrill of Rock Hill, South Carolina.  After 30 years in office, he retired from the legislature and is now at Winthrop University serving his hometown in a new way as special assistant to the president for community engagement. Gary was first elected to the SC House of Representatives in 1993.  He was also the first Republican elected from Rock Hill.  In Part One, he takes a look back at his three decades of service at the State House.  During Part Two, we talk about his new role at Winthrop University.
