from The Conversations with Nicole Show · host Nicole Huckabee

Get ready for the 13th Annual Joedance Film Festival, August 4 - 6, 2022 in Uptown Charlotte’s Fourth Ward neighborhood. The festival is hosted by The Charlotte Ballet Center for Dance. It honors the memory of Joe Restaino to raise funds for rare pediatric cancer research and clinical trials at Levine Children’s in Charlotte, North Carolina. Diane Restaino, President of the Joedance Film Festival, is my guest for this episode of Conversations with Nicole. She shares the history of the festival and how it's committed to supporting filmmakers, producers, writers, and directors by featuring short films produced in the United States and US Territories. This year the festival offers both in-person at the Charlotte Ballet located at 701 N Tryon Street in Charlotte and virtual screening opportunities. I hope you enjoy our conversation and learning about the young man which the festival honors.
