It will be a panel discussion featuring the Sheriff, recent American Medical Association President Dr. Gerald Harmon, Georgetown County School District Superintendent Keith Price, representatives from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, and Department of Health and Environmental Control, and other experts on the current epidemic within our borders.  In addition to acknowledging and addressing the problem is remediation.  Retired Army Major General Jim Coggin is working with the GCSO to address substance abuse in Georgetown County and develop ways to help substance abusers.
