Nicodemus, a Pharisee and a member of the Sanhedrin approached Jesus at night, acknowledging His divine authority and miraculous signs. Despite his religious status and knowledge, Nicodemus was spiritually blind. Jesus told him that unless one is born again, they cannot see the kingdom of God.
