Cook Street Closures This Week
from Vancouver News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Cook Street in Victoria is turning into a temporary maze this week as southbound lanes between Bay and Hillside are shut down daily from 7 AM to 7 PM through Friday—just for new concrete medians to officially mark bike lanes. Part of a larger fall completion project, crews have already been upgrading sections further down the road. Weather permitting—thanks to sunny, mild forecasts—they’re on track. The upgrades also include safer intersections, better crosswalks, and improved accessibility for everyone. Drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians: plan ahead, and expect smoother, safer streets by autumn. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
