COOKIN' UP A STORY: Anthony Stevens

For most families, the black sheep is the one who goes off to pursue a career in the arts, but for Anthony Stevens, that meant something else. Raised in a blessed religious family where music was integral to life, Anthony went in a different direction and enlisted in the Navy in 2000. There, he spent six years focused on stopping drug traffickers. After his time was up, he found difficulty entering the private sector and even spent time washing cars for a local auto dealer. From there, he joined Walmart's corporate security team before being recruited by FEMA. Then covid hit and his career took another turn. With that move, Anthony found himself helping legal marijuana growers and dispensaries prepare for "their worst day" rather than busting illegal dealers.Now, Anthony is focused on not just those in the marijuana industry, but continuing to help his 20-year-old special needs son, working in his community, and aiding other veterans as they transition into the life of private citizens.
