Cooking for the Community | with Rhona Bowles Kamar | Ep. 22

This week, I spoke to the wonderful Rhona Bowles Kamar, who is the executive director of Feed Louisville. What started as a small pandemic exercise, Feed Louisville has now turned into an impressive campaign that has partnered with almost 16 restaurants to provide meals to thousands of people who need them. Though she is a chef by qualification, Rhona now thrives in the work that she does in solidarity with the community (it is not a charity). And I agree. When Rhona talks about what the organization has accomplished in its 3 years, you only see humanity and solidarity.    I met Rhona in 2017, when she was going through a really difficult time in her life.
