COP - Community Outreach Policing

from Stop Drop and Rawle · host Rawle D Lewis

Los Angeles Police Officers Julie Nony and Kristina Montoya are attempting to make a difference in their communities by repairing the trust between citizens and the LAPD. They were more than happy to join me in a conversation, in which they proudly talked about the Los Angeles Police Department’s many reform programs. My candid dialogue with these two Community Relations officers varied from the George Floyd incident to cop themed stripper grams. They seem to have a Zen approach to policing, which caught me by surprise.
