Dillen reported that his friend had attacked him in the woods with a baseball bat. He told the 911 operator that he managed to disarm his attacker and, in self-defense, beat his friend, 15 year old Giovanni Diaz, leaving him bleeding and lying in the woods.Deputies swiftly responded to the scene and found Giovanni unresponsive with severe facial trauma.
