Core 52 | Beginnings — Beginnings: CREATION

Opening the year-long Core 52 study, this message begins where Scripture begins: Genesis 1:1 . It argues that faith in “in the beginning God created” is the foundation on which every later miracle — the Red Sea, the resurrection — rests. The pattern of the six days — places, then objects, each declared good — builds to humanity, declared very good . Male and female bear God's image; Ephesians 2:10 calls us his masterpiece, distinct from all other creation. The purpose drawn out is twofold: to reflect God's image and to live in fellowship with him. Sin, by Romans 3:23 , is falling short of that glory — taking the glory for ourselves rather than bringing it to him. Life begins to make sense when we see ourselves as reflectors of the Creator.
