Core 52 | Singing the Sacred — JESUS REJECTED

From Acts 3 , this message sets the healing of the lame beggar at the gate Beautiful as a living illustration: as that man stood whole by the name of Jesus, so a people who rejected their Messiah could still be made whole. Peter's sermon confronts the crowd with their own history — the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob glorified Jesus, whom they disowned, asking that a murderer be released and the author of life be killed. Before judging them, the message turns the mirror: all have sinned, and our sin too rejects the Father. Conviction does not end in shame. Peter's answer is repentance — a 180 — and turning back to God, with the promise of sins wiped out and times of refreshing. The choice once set before Israel is now set before the hearer.
