Reading the Great Commission in Matthew 28 and Acts 1 , this message reframes a familiar text. The disciples worshiped Jesus on the mountain even as some doubted, and only then received the charge to make disciples of all nations. The central observation is grammatical and practical: the word translated go functions less as a command to a distant land than as a description of ordinary life already in motion. The actual verb is make disciples — something done while going to work, the store, the kitchen table — beginning in Jerusalem and reaching even toward Samaria, the people we would rather avoid. The application names fear honestly and answers it with the promised Spirit and the saying, may you be covered in the dust of your rabbi. The commission is a co-mission: not conquering alone, but aligning with work God is already doing.
