Core Value: Unity (The Apostle's Creed)
from Redemption Hill Boise Podcast
“This is the good news of the gospel: that we are made to be one with the God that made all things.” In our third “Liturgy” episode, Robert jumps into our core value of Unity head first, through the lens of the Apostle’s Creed and Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer in John 17. He asks the questions of what it means to be a community and why it’s so difficult for us as Jesus followers, talking about the story of our belonging to Christ and to one another. He walks through what unity looks like, derived from mission and direction, values, grace, humility, in relation to the historic and ecumenical church, and in grabbing hold of the clear and essential things with ferocity.
