Corey Phillpot: Worlds Strongest Marathon record & what it takes to be a full time family man.

from The Running Deep Podcast

“There may be people that have more talent than you, but there’s no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do.”On this weeks episode I sit down with world record holder of the worlds strongest marathon, family man and ultra endurance athlete, Corey Phillpot to go deep on family balance, what it takes to break a world record by 3 hrs and things he has planned on the future. After being through the bender and coming out the other side only to be confronted by his own inner demons, Corey made a split decision to call his dad and change his life. This isn't a very romantic story of self exploration, more a man who was sick and tired of being sick and tired. On the cusp of suicide and ending it all that one call of reaching out changed the trajectory of his life for the better. Married with 2 children Corey is pushing the limits of what humans can achieve with a little hard work and dedication not only with his sporting achievements but with family life as well. Enjoy this episode because I sure know we both did.To receive 10% off your total order head over to https://www.goochgoo.com/ and use the code "Running deep" at check out to get your hands on the best anti chafe balm i've used so far.If you want to connect with Corey:https://www.instagram.com/coreyphillpott_/Please take 2 mins out of your day to rate and review the podcast on the Apple podcast app.HOW CAN I SUPPORT THE PODCAST?Subscribe & Review:  iTunes | Spotify | Google PodcastsTell Your Friends, Share and or Tag Online!https://www.instagram.com/running_deep_podcast/https://www.instagram.com/kent__mullins/ Hosted on Acast.
