In this episode, Tommy sits down with friend and pastor, Corey Widmer. After graduating from the University of Virginia, Corey worked for three years in London, England as "Study Assistant" to Rev. Dr. John Stott, a pastor, author and speaker. After returning to the U.S. he attended Princeton Theological Seminary and received a Master of Divinity degree. In June 2005 Corey and his wife Sarah moved to Richmond into the north Churchill neighborhood. In early 2008, he helped launch and  then co-pastored for 7 years East End Fellowship, a multi-racial church in north Church Hill.  Since 2015 he has served as the Lead Pastor at Third Church. He also has a PhD in theology from the Free University of Amsterdam. When he’s not working, Corey spends time running, bird-watching, and driving his kids to soccer practice. But mostly he enjoys being with his wife Sarah and their four daughters, Sophia, Anna, Phoebe and Frances.
