Cornelius Van Til: His Life

A Morning Instruction class on the life of Cornelius Van Til, opening with Jude's call to contend for the faith. The lesson traces the Dutch Reformed background into which Van Til was born in 1895, including the secession churches of the 1830s and the five points of Calvinism set against Arminianism, then his emigration, his studies at Calvin and Princeton, and his joining J. Gresham Machen at the founding of Westminster Theological Seminary and the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, where he served until his death in 1987.
