Class notes: Information Sheet & Homework Details (PDF) Got questions? Need hope, wisdom, and encouragement? The Bible has the answers. Cornerstone is NorthCreek Church's foundational discipleship and biblical counseling course—a class that helps you deal with life's challenges God's way. Taught by Pastor Jeremy Pray, NorthCreek's Pastor of Biblical Counseling, this 32-lesson course walks through over 105 biblical principles that explain how lasting change happens at the heart level (Colossians 1:28; 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:14; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). What You'll Learn Cornerstone lays a biblical foundation for understanding and addressing salvation, sin, and repentance; anger, forgiveness, fear, and worry; depression and anxiety; marriage and parenting; addictions and life-dominating sins; and spiritual growth and maturity in Christ. Each session points you to the sufficiency of Scripture and how God's Word applies to every area of life. Why Take Cornerstone? This class helps you learn to apply God's truth to real-life struggles, grow in your understanding of how people change, gain practical tools for biblical counseling and discipleship, and build a Christ-centered worldview within a community that seeks to live out God's Word together.
