Welcome to Season 2, Episode 9! (Episode 59)  This one is a special episode as The Boys are settled in for a real conversation about the last week and year and the toll it has taken on so many including Mark & Casey. So getcha some port vintage and let's get ready to Paint!

Kicking off this week's episode Casey is sharing some viewer opinions and messages from fans with regard to the last episode. Listeners, Callers, Readers, Viewers, Writers, etc., have some thoughts and we are sharing their reactions with you in this week's Pick-up.  Then Mark is celebrating an unseasonable weather event which saw the return of a favorite quaratine pass time.

In this week's Mid-Section, Mark & Casey are going deep discussing the anniversary  of the Corona-19-COVID-CORVID-1919-2020-2021. So much has happened and so many of us have been living in trauma. What are some of the memories? How have we been affected? What does the future look like -- both soon and later? The Boys are not just looking back...but also looking forward!  While there have been many negatives, there have also been some positives and hopefully we can hold on to the good.

Then it's on to Trash Talk, where Casey has brought a story about an Alabama State Representative who forgot followers can see your "likes" on Twitter and guess what?? - his hypocrisy is on full display.  You gotta hear it to believe it.  Next up Mark keeps it in Alabama where a whole self exercise and mindfulness program has been outlawed in schools for decades. Now the State is reversing course-- but with some ridiculous stipulations. Finally, closing out Trash Talk, it was an odd and wholly tragic Christmas at one home in California as details regarding the events of one families holiday are coming to light during a trial. You gotta hear this one to believe it!

Finally, in this week's recommendations, Casey is excited about a new musical act he has been listening to you with a fusion of styles, and Mark is revisiting a cult classic TV Show which has just been released on a streaming platform in it's entirety (two seasons)!

This is a historic and important time and as we hit the mark of one year of living in the age of Corona, this is a great time to reflect. So join Mark and Casey with your favorite port vintage, share some stories and thoughts and hang with the Painted Trash!
