Coronavirus and the toilet paper fiasco

from Millennials Talk · host Annita Katee

Wow. What a time it's been for our world over the past few weeks. Coronavirus has really put life into perspective for many and has brought us closer as nation emotionally - not physically! It's also crazy to think how much the virus has changed in purely the past week. Last week at this time I was in Australia and was laughing over the lack of toilet paper. Now, I'm sitting at home locked down in isolation. I want to make it clear (as I'll go over in the chat multiple times), I and my guest, Baillie, are in no way making fun of the situation, however, we didn't take it as seriously as we do now because it wasn't as serious as it is now when we recorded the chat. On a completely different spectrum, we also spoke about what it's like being a nice person. While that sounds stupid, I thought it was interesting to delve into the idea of when being nice is too nice. I hope you enjoy this chat and you stay safe out there. I'm sending my love and well wishes to everyone xx Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE, RATE & REVIEW!  Article: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2020/03/05/millennials-worry-changing-spending-most-amid-coronavirus-study.html  Follow us: INSTAGRAM: @millennialstalkpodcast // @annitakatee // @elisabethbaillie FACEBOOK: @millennialstalkpodcast TWITTER: @mtalkpod WEBSITE: millennialstalk.com YOUTUBE: Annita Katee

AI Erik's Podcast Audio Erik Conn The AI News Podcast where we talk AI. NEWMORROW SESSIONS - A PodCast Series on the Future of Hospitality Mario C. Bauer, Florian Schneider, Axel Weber & Dr. Tillman Bardt The Newmorrow PodCast is more than a podcast — it's a platform for open dialog on the future of our business, a platform for those building what doesn’t exist yet. Here, we share and embrace our passion for the hospitality industry, but we won’t romanticize the journey. We ask the tough questions, confront uncomfortable truths, and prepare for a future that resists easy answers. We believe that the tougher and wilder times become, the more openly, honestly and humanely people need to talk to each other and act together. We believe, openness, togetherness, and truthfulness should also be cornerstones of a professional community to develop our utopian idea of „open source“. This is a space where visionaries don’t just imagine the future — they wrestle with the paradoxes that shape it: success vs. happiness, data vs. instinct, stability vs. reinvention. Join leaders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers as they share not what made them — but what’s actively shaping them, now and next.
