Ho registrato la sesta puntata di Run Is It per rispondere alle domande ricorrenti sulle FiveFingers di Vibram. Prima di tutto, perché correre con queste scarpe e non con le tradizionali? Poi: quanto costano? Dove si comprano? Come calzano? Dove si possono provare? Quali allenamenti posso farci? E posso usarle anche in inverno con le calze? Le uso tutti i giorni per camminare e una volta alla settimana per correre i rigeneranti (che poi diventano corse svelte, ma di questo parlo nella puntata). Ho scritto “uso” e non “indosso” perché sono degli strumenti di allenamento per il piede, per la postura, per tutte quelle strutture che le scarpe tradizionali costringono e limitano.Da quando ho le FiveFingers ai piedi ho meno affaticamento, non ho fascite plantare, rilasso e massaggio la muscolatura del piede ad ogni passo, e riesco ad aumentare la cadenza di corsa quindi l’eleganza del gesto e l’efficacia della falcata. Di contro, solo certi modelli sono caldi anche in inverno, e solo certe tipologie di runner possono indossarle per chilometraggi elevati. Bisogna introdurle gradualmente nella routine di allenamento: indossarle a casa per qualche ora al giorno, poi camminarci per qualche chilometro, infine correrci per pochi minuti nelle settimane e nei mesi fino a rafforzare piede e articolazione.È un podcast pieno di questi dettagli e di queste considerazioni, con qualche dritta per comprarle al giusto prezzo e, magari, riuscire a provarle prima.
