Cosby, Kavanaugh & Me Too

The two dominating news stories this past week were both related to sexual assault.  On Wednesday, Bill Cosby was sentenced to three to ten years in prison for a sexual assault that occurred in 2004.  Thursday the nation watched as Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Brett Kavanaugh faced a senate hearing.  These two unprecedented events were viewed from very different lenses depending on many factors; some of which include age, race and personal history.  African-Americans have expressed feelings of conflict in how they processed the Cosby verdict.  This group is not monolithic and the varied opinions are proof.  In this podcast episode both of these events are analyzed by a panel of African-Americans.  Whether you agree or disagree with their opinions, listen with an open mind.  Join the conversation at the Get Happy With J Facebook page.
