Costa Rica with Kids - 1 Week Itinerary, Cost, and What to Know Before You Go!

from Travel with Kids

This week on the Travel with Kids Podcast I'm bringing my husband, Justin, on to help me share about our first international trip as a family of 6: Costa Rica! We'll share our one week itinerary for a family vacation to Costa Rica, how much it costs to travel to Costa Rica as a family of 6, and a few tips to know before you go.  We flew into San Jose, Costa Rica, then took a private transfer to get to La Fortuna - near the Arenal Volcano. We stayed at Arenal Manoa (affiliate link), an amazing hotel with free breakfast and a great view of Arenal from every room! In La Fortuna we went ziplining and took a sloth tour! (affiliate link) Next we took another private transfer to the beach town of Sámara, located in the Guanacaste region. We stayed at Villas Kalimba (affiliate link), which was a perfect fit for our family of 6.  In Sámara we went horseback riding and took a dolphin tour!
