This week, we put Costco Kirkland Signature head to head with itself. Same wine: Kirkland Signature Chianti Classico Riserva, but different vintages - 2020 vs. 2022 - and two different producers. And hands down one was a winner. We expected it to be closer, but it just wasn’t. We also dig into what the different designations of Chianti mean - Chianti vs. Classico vs. Riserva vs. Gran Selezione. And we talk about why Chianti can be a bit of a polarizing wine.
