Couch Potato to the Comrades Marathon in 1 Year – Is it possible?

A lot of people watch the TV on Comrades Marathon race day and think wow I wish I could do that. Some people obviously do make that decision to run Comrades the year after. I know this is a difficult question to answer because it is a long stretch of time between now and Comrades, but what does someone need to do if they’ve made the decision that they are going to run the 2015 Comrades Marathon?
