Could Australia's new stance on the Occupied Palestinian Territory affect votes in western Sydney?

from RN Drive - Separate stories podcast · host Australian Broadcasting Corporation

Australia has now backed a UN resolution demanding "Israel bring to an end its unlawful presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory as rapidly as possible". The resolution also calls for an end to all new settlement activities and for settlers to be removed from occupied territory.  The Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong says the decision has been motivated by a desire for peace and support for a two-state solution. Meanwhile the opposition leader, Peter Dutton says the Prime Minister has abandoned the Jewish community.
