He held a number of senior positions, including Global Head of Crude Oil at Gazprom Marketing & Trading, Director of Petraco and the Head of their Singapore office and The Regional Manager of Texaco Oil Trading for Asia.He was a Fulbright Scholar and studied at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Harvard University. Adi also taught economics at Surrey University for several years: Energy Economics as well as Resource and Environmental Economics. He has a PhD in Economics and a Masters degree in Energy Economics.He has written a number of papers and articles on the topic of oil and gas prices, benchmarks, and energy security.
