The meeting discussed cooperation between the two brotherly countries, strengthening bilateral relations, strengthening joint economic relations, activating joint governmental and parliamentary committees between the two countries, and stressing the necessity of activating reconstruction projects and the outcomes of the international donors conference. He stressed, "During the meeting, Iraq was keen on strengthening relations between the two neighboring brotherly countries in all fields, appreciating Kuwait's stances in support of Iraq."
