Last night, Rob Thomson elected to use Orion Kerkering in the 9th inning to pick up his first career MLB save, as the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Miami Marlins 5-2. Jordan Romano pitched the 7th inning, while Matt Strahm pitched the 8th inning before Thomson turned to Kerkering to close things out.
