Council gives landlord a break

Pipestone City Council members voted during their Feb. 17 meeting to allow Pipestone resident Donna Morris to pay 80 percent of a past due utility bill for a rental property she owns. Morris first spoke to the City Council about the matter in December and then again in January. She said she was notified that there were issues with the bill in June and had asked the city to shut off the water.
