Councillor casts doubt over pedestrianising Golden Mile

Claims contracts haven't yet been signed on Wellington's Golden Mile project. The development would see cars axed from a number of central city streets to prioritise public transit. Wellington Mayor Tory Whanau previously told Nick Mills on Wellington Mornings the project had been signed off and construction was definite.  However Wellington City Councillor Diane Calvert claims otherwise.
