With carryover hay filling sheds across southern Australia, falling ex-farm prices and high freight costs leave growers with a tough decision: sell their stored hay now or hold out for dry weather ahead? We’ll head to Albury where livestock are thriving as we head into spring, after what has been one of the best seasons farmers can remember. Federal Shadow Minister for Small Business, and Skills and Training, Jacinta Price has travelled across South West Victoria, we’ll find out what she’s been hearing from farmers. Rural Aid has launched its 'Carry The Weight' appeal, and it's looking for financial support to help farmers who are doing it tough. Free Rabobank financial skills workshops are heading to Warrnambool and Hamilton next week to help farmers improve their financial literacy.
