Country Western Artist Vernon Minton

from Off The Chain · host Yvonne Mason Sewell

Country and Western Artist Vernon Minton became popular in the 1990's. Sadly he was taken advantage of by many people in the industry. His career never got off the ground as it should have. His story in the industry is not unique. Many artists both in the Country and Western arena and the rockand roll - blues and soul were taken advantage of on many levels. Vernon refused to bow down to the abuse by those in the industry. His music can now only be heard on youtube which is a shame. His music is old school and worthy of an audience. Tonight We will talk about how he got there, what happened and why he left the industry. I have found his music and will be playing it -
