County approves cemetery board appointments

The Box Elder County Commission approved three cem­etery board appointments and ratified a previously signed beer license consent form during its Feb. 11 meeting. County Clerk Marla Young told the commission that Kar­la Parsons, who has served the past several years on the Wil­lard Precinct Cemetery Maintenance Board, had asked to step down. “First of all, I’d like to thank Karla Parsons, who has been serving the last few years. She’s really done a lot for the Wil­lard Cemetery,” Young said. The Willard board advertised the vacancy and recom­mended Richard Day as Parsons’ replacement.
