County economic development program gets oversight, governance changes

New requirements from the Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) will bring several updates to Box Elder County's Rural County Grant program before Sept. 1, including new oversight requirements, a board restructuring and a revised grant application process. Sean Milne, economic development director for the Bear River Association of Governments (BRAG), outlined the updates July 7.
