Couple Attempted Secure Site Entry With Gun | Las Vegas News

A man and woman rolled up to the Nevada National Security Site in an unregistered car, claiming ties to employees—only to be caught lying. When the man admitted to a hidden nine-millimeter pistol found near the woman, authorities moved fast. Investigators later uncovered a memorial card for one of their fake names and linked them to a prior shooting just days earlier, using the same gun. Both lacked concealed carry permits, and now face four federal charges for trespassing with a firearm and false pretenses. The case is heating up as prosecutors move forward with charges.
