Courage is a Choice

Drawing from his memoir, Bury Me in a Dirty Suit, Kinder recounts what it was like to be inside the North Tower of the World Trade Center when the first plane struck. What began as a normal workday quickly turned into chaos, confusion, and a desperate fight for survival. Listeners are taken step-by-step through Kinder’s harrowing escape—navigating smoke-filled stairwells, helping others along the way, and making life-or-death decisions under unimaginable pressure. His story isn’t just about survival, but about human instinct, resilience, and the quiet courage that emerges in moments of crisis.
