COURT UPDATE

The following defendants were among those listed on recent dockets for the 81st District Court in Wilson County: •Rodney D. Wigley, 40, of Floresville was found “not guilty” by a jury April 25, on a charge of assault of a family member by impeding breath or circulation, after an alleged incident in November 2022. He was acquitted and released the same day. •Brandon J. Brewer, 34, of Floresville was originally sentenced in November 2023 to five years of probation for each charge of burglary of a habitation and assault of a family member, from alleged incidents in December 2022.
