In this episode from 2011 I was joined by Courtney Clay who was “unschooled” for her entire childhood, and received great benefit from this method of self-directed learning.  In this episode we expored the concept of “unschooling” and how self directed learning can empower young people.  While I myself take a hybrid approach without grand kids, structure first, free learning second I really enjoyed this discussion and think you will too.
