Karen Ann Martin was a Danvers native and flight attendant aboard American Airlines Flight 11. Karen was the lead flight attendant that morning, and had the keys to the cockpit. But before she was Flight 11’s lead flight attendant, she was a daughter, a friend, a roommate — and someone who was deeply loved by the people who knew her.
