Following her parents' divorce, Courtney Rich experienced depression for the first time. Doctors called it situational but in the years since, depression has become an ever-present obstacle in her life. However, in recent years two things have transformed and aided her fight against mental illness.  "I prayed at the beginning of that summer and said, 'I will do everything you need me to do. I am giving you my all because I need this from you. I need to know that you're there.
