Cover 2 with Blaine and Zach - Hour 1 - The "Do The Cam Ward" Debate

Blaine Bishop and Zach Lyons break down the high stakes of Week 1 as the Tennessee Titans prepare to host the New York Jets on Cover 2. The show kicks off with a lively reaction to the viral fan rap track "Do The Cam Ward." Then, we track down the origin of the zombie-style celebration back to Western Kentucky and Miami, leading into an impromptu call from Romeo, the track's creator, who explains his vision of getting local Nashville artists played inside the stadium after touchdowns. From there, Blaine and Zach dive into the Titans' mindset heading into the opener. They examine press conference soundbites from head coach Robert Saleh and rookie quarterback Cam Ward on the urgency of starting fast, debate what ball security really means for a young QB, and take calls from listeners—including a discussion on whether a high-scoring loss could ever feel like a win for Titans fans. Finally, the guys look at the mystery surrounding the Jets' new 3-4 defensive scheme under Aaron Glenn and why Week 1 is always the ultimate outlier.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
