Cover 2 with Blaine and Zach - Hour 2 - Why Titans vs. Jets is an Absolute Must-Win

Is a Week 1 matchup really a "must-win"? Blaine Bishop and Zach Lyons break down why the Tennessee Titans’ season opener against the New York Jets carries far more weight than just a standard 1–0 start. The guys dive into the shifting culture in Tennessee, the pressure to shake off back-to-back losing seasons, and why losing to a fellow "rebuilding" squad like the Jets would be a major setback. Plus, they react to blistering takes coming out of New York sports radio, discuss what former Jets now in Tennessee bring to the matchup, and break down the trenches battle between the Titans’ defensive front and New York’s offensive line. Finally, the crew touches on the MAC’s controversial appeal of the Western Michigan vs. Michigan finish, and Blaine shares details on the release of his new memoir, Counted Out: A Story of Redemption in the NFL.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
