Cover Me

In this episode, we talk about the difference between covering someone and trying to clothe them ourselves. We can show love, compassion, empathy, and grace, but only God can truly transform and restore a person. We also talk about the church, judgment, shame, LGBT+ people, addiction, accountability, and what happens when our public condemnation of certain sins makes people privately struggling with those same things afraid to come forward. Because the church shouldn't be a country club for people who already have it together. It should be a place where broken people can encounter the love of God.
