Cover to Cover Open Book – June 19, 2009

from KPFA - Cover to Cover Open Book · host KPFA

On Open Book, we will hear heartfelt stories of coming out, of same-sex marriage and of other experiences from the LGBTQQI community.  Earlier this month, StoryCorps came to KPFA to do some recordings for this month's Gay Pride celebrations.  StoryCorps is an oral history project based on the idea that the stories of everyday people are the most important and interesting of all.  So tune in to hear some of the stories we were able to record here on KPFA. If you would like more information about the StoryCorps project, check them out at www.storycorps.net.  Also, the roving StoryCorps booth is in San Francisco till October 11th at the Contemporary Jewish Museum.  To schedule an interview, call them at (800) 850-4406 or check out their website.   The post Cover to Cover Open Book – June 19, 2009 appeared first on KPFA.
