Doobert is an online software platform that is custom-built for pet rescuers and rescue organizations. Its founder, Chris Roy, has two passions: animals and aviation. He started flying animal rescues — transporting shelter dogs from high-kill locations to areas where they were more likely to be adopted - many years ago. After transporting hundreds of animals, Chris utilized his IT skills to put together a system to coordinate organization and communication within animal rescues and shelters. From there, his passion for the cause only grew as he learned more about the world of animal rescue and the challenges facing these organizations. Today, he's talking about his newest venture, Doobert Forward, which allows animal lovers to shop for their usual pet products while donating to shelters and rescues of their choice.
