He is certified in functional medicine by the Institute for Functional Medicine and has completed a residential fellowship in integrative medicine through the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. He also has specialized training in functional medicine earned first-hand at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine. He earned his medical doctorate from Stony Brook University.
