COVID and the Impact on College Admissions - Talk to a Counselor!

Craig's guest is Patrick O'Connor, chief strategist and CEO of College is Yours, an organization dedicated to increasing college access and opportunity.  A college counselor for 36 years, Patrick has written five books on counseling, including the college guide College is Yours 2.0, and is a past president of the National Association for College Admission Counseling.   The normal college admissions process has been upended somewhat by COVID, and there is also a decline in the number of minority applicants at schools nationwide.  The two discuss the current situation, and what changes may be permanent, such as schools choosing NOT to use ACT and SAT scores when considering who gains acceptance.
